King Salmon Guides' Wilderness Float Trips
Rates & Information: Bears: On most streams in Bristol Bay, Alaska, you will see, and fish among, bears. In general, they are not a threat. However, they are attracted to open food and garbage. To minimize the threat, we keep all garbage tightly sealed and never store any food or garbage in the tents or in the rafts. It is easy for an angler to become so engrossed in fishing that they might not notice a bear approaching. Your guide or a KSG representative will inform you of the proper ways to avoid and prevent any uncomfortable situations for you and the bears. On unguided floats, KSG strongly recommends bringing pepper spray which can be purchased in our fly shop. Fishing Licenses: The State of Alaska requires that you are in possession of a valid Alaska State Fishing License at all times. If you fish during King season, you must also purchase a King Stamp. Both license and King stamp can be purchased from KSG upon arrival. Qualifying Physical Conditions: Please realize that you are going into the Alaska wilderness. If you have any physical limitations, please consult your physician before booking you trip. Unguided Wilderness Float Trips
