X-Stream Trips
Catered to those who enjoy the challenges associated with extreme locations. This style of adventure is not just for anyone. It is for the angler who enjoys overcoming diverse terrain, possibly rough weather and an abundance of Brown Bears. You must be strong both physically and mentally. The rewards for fishing such remote locations, in the untamed Alaskan landscape, are a once-in-a-lifetime adventure and life-long memories.

These remote bush locations are where few anglers have been before. The location of your X-stream trip will be based upon the time of year you visit us and on the type of fish you wish to catch. Of course, during many times of the year, a variety of species will be available simultaneously. King Salmon Guides will always bring you to the rivers or streams that provide the absolute best fishing opportunities. For more detailed information on the availability of particular species throughout the fishing season, check out our Species & Seasons page.

The trip will begin with a fly-out to your X-stream location in our De Haviland Beaver float plane. After the Beaver taxis down the river for take-off, you will encounter breathtaking views of Southwest Alaska. During your scenic flight, you will witness numerous water systems which provide the nutrients for a variety of wildlife that you might encounter on your trip, such as Alaska Brown Bears, Moose, Caribou. Wolves, Foxes, Eagles, Ptarmigan and Ducks. Flying over the volcanic landscape of the Aleutian Mountain Range, you will truly feel on top of the world. And that's just the beginning. Upon landing at your X-stream location, your adventure truly begins.
