Airline Travel Arrangements

Accommodations before and after your trip
Most travel itineraries can get you to King Salmon in one day, however it is recommended that you stay overnight in Anchorage to assure that your bags arrive with you the following day in King Salmon. We suggest that you pick up your bags in Anchorage and hand check them at the airport the next morning. Alaska Wilderness Travel can arrange a hotel near the airport for your convenience. Reservations should be made well in advance. We also suggest spending a night in King Salmon after your X-stream trip. Amenities such as a hot shower are welcome after a trip such as this.

Arrival in King Salmon
Upon arrival in King Salmon, you will be met at the airport by a KSG representative, and escorted to the "Last Chance" fly shop where you will be given a trip briefing, and have the opportunity to purchase your fishing license and collect any last minute items. You will then be flown out to your destination in our De Haviland Beaver float plane.
