*Waders
Good chest waders are very important. Neoprene, 2 millimeter are suggested. If you have Gortex waders, you need to have a pair of fleece pants or heavy long underwear underneath. Rubber waders are not recommended. Hip boots may be used, but they may limit your fishing options. For fly fishermen, along with fishing from the boat, you will be in the water casting quite frequently. Chest waders are also a good substitute for rain pants. In general, Gortex waders are more comfortable.
