Deluxe Nushagak Salmon Camp

Fishing the Nushagak:
The Nushagak is renowned for having the largest, and most short lived, runs of King Salmon in the world. The Nushagak receives anywhere from 90,000 to 150,000 King Salmon during the weeks that the Nushagak Salmon Camp is open. It is possible to catch 10 to 30 Kings a day in july, averaging from 15 to 50 pounds each. In addition, this location sees Chum, Northern Pike and Grayling. Sockeye Salmon can also be found in large schools directly in front of our camp. Walk down to the beach and fish all night long if you wish. At this time of year in Alaska, the daylight never ends.
For more detailed information on the fishing, check out our Species & Seasons page. We'll tell you exactly what you can expect to catch at certain times of the year. With King Salmon Guides, we'll always put you where the fish are.
