Airline Travel Arrangements

Accommodations before and after your trip
Most travel itineraries can get you to King Salmon in one day, however it is recommended that you stay overnight in Anchorage to assure that your bags arrive with you the following day in King Salmon. We suggest that you pick up your bags in Anchorage and hand check them at the airport the next morning. Alaska Wilderness Travel can arrange a hotel near the airport for your convenience. Reservations should be made well in advance.

Transportation
Upon arrival in King Salmon, you will be met at the airport by a KSG representative, and escorted to our flyshop where you'll have an opportunity to organize your gear and familiarize yourself with your new surroundings. After a brief rest and orientation, you'll be flown out to the camp site in our company float plane. At the end of your trip, you will be flown back to King Salmon, where you'll receive your fish from the commercial freezer.

The first and last day of the trip are considered change out days. Do not expect a full day of fishing.
